Contract Recruitment Case Study : Tanya Crossland
Tanya worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at Rolls-Royce before joining Jumar. “I have worked continuously with Jumar for many years on a variety of contracts. It has always had a good reputation within the contracting market when compared to some other agencies” she comments. “The culture encourages you build strong relationships and become one of the family, it isn’t like working with one of the huge agencies where you can often feel like just a number.”
Tanya is a CA Gen specialist and has worked with the product for about ten years. “Jumar’s products are very much at the leading edge as far as Gen is concerned. Not only do they help Gen users improve their productivity, they significantly increase the scope of what you can achieve with the tool.”
Since leaving Rolls-Royce Tanya has worked mainly in the Utilities, Government and Leisure Industries and is currently working on a major Government project in the Midlands. “One of the most rewarding roles I have undertaken with Jumar was a Loyalty Card project for one of Spain’s top hotel chains. The work in itself was enjoyable but the lifestyle and weather made it a real delight” Tanya explains.
In her spare time Tanya is, in her own words, a ‘bit of a gym fanatic’ and very keen on photography. She lives with her husband in a village just outside Derby but has just bought some land in the eastern Algarve, just ten minutes from the sea, where they plan to build their retirement home.
